Student Success Statemnet

"The essential thing is not knowledge, but character."-Joseph Le Conte

This quote is saying that the knowledge you carry is not what matters, but the way you treat people and your personality does. You can be the smartest person alive, but without being a good person you are nothing in this world. It can also be saying that you must stay humble no matter how much you know. Being smart does not make you a good person because being smart just means you know a lot. Having character on the hand will get you farther and also could get you to be a very loved person.

Napoleon is saying that when you have a goal that is actually good and can only benefit you and a mind full of positive thoughts, that is when the starting point begins. For example, let's say you want to be a doctor, than all you think about are positive thoughts that you can be one and set that as your goal and it will be achieved. You are what you think remember, most of the time it goes back to that.
