Student Success Statement

"The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it-as long as you really believe 100 percent." -Arnold Schwarzenegger

This statement is saying that if your mind is has a goal and is set on it then you really can do it. There is no limit, but the limit you put in your mind. There is nothing you can't do if you believe in it.

Student Success Statement

"You can't put a limit on anything. The more you dream, the farther you get." -Michael Phelps 22 Olympic Medals (18 Gold)

This statement is saying that putting limits on yourself is not good because if you set your mind to it then there really are no limits. They always say that you have to believe in your dreams and fight to make them come true. Well if you put limits on yourself then you will never reach your dreams. Dreams are what drive people to get to where they want. If people keep on dreaming then they keep on moving further and become greater. NEVER set limits.

"Try a little harder to be a little better." -Gordon B. Hinkley

This statement is saying that if you just keep on saying to yourself "one more" then you keep getting better. If you keep on trying a little more each day then you get a little better each day. You don't give up, you just keep on going. It takes a while to see results, but if you trying a little more each day, there is a guarantee that it will come.

"If you want to achieve excellence, you can get there today. As of this second, quit doing less-than-excellent work."- Thomas J. Watson

This statement is saying that if you want to accomplish nothing less than greatness you can this very moment. The very moment you decide to do pure excellence and actually do actions is when you achieve it. Excellence takes work and if you begin the work this second then you are already accomplishing it. For example in this very if you want to accomplish excellence then the essay that is due you will not stop until it is excellent. It is all just in the type of work you do because that says how much you want excellence.

"It's not the will to win, but the will to prepare to win that makes the difference."- Paul Bear Bryant

This statement is saying that everyone has the will to win, everyone wants to win, but it is only those who prepare to get the win that separates them from everyone. When you want to win that is all just talk and nothing is getting done, but when you give up having fun to become stronger, better, and more agile is when instead of you going for the win, the win will come to you. Preparation is what determines how bad you want it.

Student Success Statement

"Righteous community unity starts with ONE upright soul, whether it is a community of family members, students, neighbors, teammates, or business associates. Unity conquers worthy pursuits more quickly and with less effort than individual effort alone." - Mr. Haymore

This quote tells me that only one good soul is needed to begin a beautiful IMPACT. It takes one person in the community to start something good and then it spreads on like a wildfire. Working together makes things easier without a doubt. Unity is what everyone needs to make a better life. When people work together it takes less thought, energy, and it feels good because you know that you are not alone. I completely agree with the fact that WHEN THERE IS UNITY, ALL CAN BE CONQUERED!!!!!
