Medical Illustrator

Medical Illustrator

Duties and Responsibilities:

Medical illustrators create graphics for articles, textbooks, journals, and magazines. They also make them for educational films. They draw microorganisms to parts of the body. Sometimes they get called to do models of fake models of body parts for people are deformed or have had surgery.
Average Salary: $35,000- $50,000
Educational Requirements:
In high school you should take college preparatory that are specifically on art and science. In college they should take art and science major in one or the other, but minor in the one they are not majoring in. To be a certificated medical illustrator you have to have a portfolio review, graduate degree in medical illustration, and complete with success the national examination.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!
I would not like to be a medical illustrator because I am not a good artist. This career is all about art and science, which the science part isn't a big deal for me, but I am simply terrible at art.
