This statement means that if you follow every rule then you are very cool. It is not about being popular, but doing the right thing. You have to be on time, respect others, and do your work. After that, then you're cool.

On Friday HPIAM teachers made a play of following the rules in this school. They showed us how not to dress, to not bully, and to listen to the teachers. There were little skits that students acted in and they were acting examples of what not to do as well. From this play I have learned to keep on following directions of the teacher, being organized, and being on time.

     Pablo Picasso is saying that when you take action you will succeed. There is no way of accomplishing success if you do not choose to do something about. It is hard, but action is the only way to actually gain success. 

Progress On 100 Goals

I know that for my goal of typing without looking at the key board is coming along very quickly actually. I have also been working on making straight A's on a report card. To get to my other goals of traveling I need to keep working and save money to be able to accomplish them. I know they will all come true.

Pyramid Healing

   Pyramid healing is a therapy that gets people into deep meditation and can heal the spirit, the mind, and the physical. For this type of healing you go under a triangle prism as in sit or stand. When you are inside the pyramid it is said that a bubble is created so that the energy of others is blocked from getting in. it also has the power to help plants to grow. This type of energy is amazing.

I would actually like to try it because it seems relaxing and it looks like it really works. If it can kill infections and heal cuts then this seems like a good way of healing.

     This statement is saying that hardships can break some people while to others it will make them better. It is those who see it as an opportunity is the ones who try and try. Some break while others break adversity.

Health Information Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Health information specialists analyze medical data, finances, and insurance data. They make sure that everything gets recorded in the records right. There are many types of health information specialists like:

·                     ·         Registered record administrators

·                     ·         Accredited record technicians

·                     ·         Certified coding specialist

They work in hospitals, clinics, insurance companies, and physician offices.

Average Salary: $20,000- $25,000 (Coding Specialist)

                           $23,000- $30,000 (Record Technicians)

                           $30,000- $40,000 (Record Administrators

Educational Requirements:

   A coding specialist must have a high school diploma or GED certificate. Record technicians must have an associate’s degree from an accredited college program or from the American Health Information Management Association Independent Study Program. Record administrator has to earn a bachelor’s degree program in the field. They have training in college and only get certified if they pass their examination.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!

I would not like to be a health information specialist because to be putting records in files and managing the insurance information is not really in my interests. This career does not catch my eye.
