Ophthalmologists are doctors for the eye,
they can also perform surgery. They find treatments for diseases or disorders
of the eye and can prescribe glasses for vision problems. They can work in
hospitals, clinics, and private practices.
Average
Salary: $90,000- $150,000
Educational
Requirements:
You have to complete a three to five year
residency in an approved ophthalmology program after completing medical school
and an internship. Then they need to pass a certification.

I would like to be an ophthalmologist
because it sounds really interesting. It seems that this career can be really
good to get into.

This statement is trying to say to never listen to what other people have t say about what you can do. Always do more because only you know what you are capable of. Never settle for less and if you do not accomplish it fully then never have excuses because there aren't any. Be responsible for doing more and do not put excuses because they do not exist. They assist ophthalmologists gather the data
and measurements to get the right diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and problems.- · They do eye exams.
- · Help with eye surgery.
- · Explain the diagnosis and treatment to the patients.
They can
work in clinics, hospitals, and in private practices.

Salary: $14,000- $25,000
Educational
Requirements:
You have to have a high school diploma or GED
and two years of college prior doing ophthalmic training. These programs can last up to two years to complete.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!
I would not like to be an ophthalmic
technician because they help during surgeries and for me that is a deal
breaker. I do not want anything to do with surgeries.

This quote is saying that when you set your mind to a goal then that is a goal you will achieve. You have to set it so then you can be determined to get it. For example, when Kobe decided to one of the best he practiced nonstop and now he is the star of the Lakers. When you set a goal, you get it.
Progress Report
After reading my 100 goals I realized that I have achieved one other goal which is to save an animal. I realized that its owner did not know it was left out in the street so i told them and the dog was safe in his home. It felt really nice because I love animals. I have also advanced my knowledge on marine biology which is very interesting.

Duties and
Responsibilities:
They are also known as surgical technicians
or surgical technologists. They help prepare operating room and are responsible
for surgical instruments, clean bandages and linens, needed fluids, and other
things needed. Operating room technicians can also help the doctor with handed
them what they need during the operation. They deliver tests to hospitals for
analysis. They also take the patients back to their room after the operations.
Average
Salary: $16,000- $22,000
Educational
Requirements:
To be in this career you have to have a high
school diploma or GED. Some junior and vocational colleges have training
programs and so do big hospitals. The training is one year to two years. The training
you get is on how to sterilize objects, terminology, and physiology. After training
you have to pass a test by the Association of Surgical Technologists to be
certified.

I would not like to be an operating room technician
because I do not want to be involved in any operations. This career is not my
interest
