Ophthalmic Technician

Duties and Responsibility:
   They assist ophthalmologists gather the data and measurements to get the right diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and problems.
  • ·         They do eye exams.
  • ·         Help with eye surgery.
  • ·         Explain the diagnosis and treatment to the patients.

They can work in clinics, hospitals, and in private practices.
Average Salary: $14,000- $25,000
Educational Requirements:
   You have to have a high school diploma or GED and two years of college prior doing ophthalmic training. These programs can last up to two years to complete.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!

I would not like to be an ophthalmic technician because they help during surgeries and for me that is a deal breaker. I do not want anything to do with surgeries.
