Duties and Responsibilities:

   They assist cancer specialists in treating diseases by baring the patient’s body with radiation. They keep the radiation equipment and the records of the patients. Radiation therapy can be held in hospitals, public health clinics, cancer treatment centers, and private offices.

Average Salary: $22,000- $36,000

Educational Requirements:

   In high school you must take the highest courses in math, science, and English. For training, you can take a one year or two year program. For the one year program you must have been a nurse with education with radiation physics or graduated from an approved program in radiologic technology. For the two year program you have to have high school diploma or a GED.

I would not like to be a radiation therapist because it does not interest me. This career seems too much for me.

   They understand, explain, and change the behavior of their patients. They can work in schools, clinics, hospitals, and private practices. They:

• ·         Diagnose and treat problems.
• ·         Interview and note their patients.
• ·         Develop, select, and administer tests.
• ·         Counseling patients, groups, and families.

Average Salary: $45,000- $65,000

Educational Requirements:

   Psychologists that are licensed need a Ph.D. in psychologist. Clinical psychologists have to complete a 2 year internship that is supervised after they get their Ph.D. and pass oral and written state qualifying exams.

I would like to be a psychologist because it seems interesting to me. Working with the mind fascinates me.

Duties and Responsibilities:

   They specifically work with problems of a mental illness. They can work for the government, have their own private practice, or work in hospitals, clinics, or universities. Psychiatrist:

• ·         Design treatment programs.
• ·         Conduct psychotherapy sessions.
• ·         Prescribe mental illness medicine.
• ·         Manage electrotherapy treatments.
• ·         Do research.

Average Salary: $90,000- $200,000

Educational Requirements:

   They have to complete a degree in allopathic and osteopathic medicine. Psychiatrists have to complete a three year residency in psychiatry.

I would like to be a psychiatrist because it is very interesting to me. Learning about the brain seems very fascinating.
