Duties and
Responsibilities:
They assist cancer specialists in treating
diseases by baring the patient’s body with radiation. They keep the radiation
equipment and the records of the patients. Radiation therapy can be held in
hospitals, public health clinics, cancer treatment centers, and private
offices.
Average
Salary: $22,000- $36,000
Educational
Requirements:
In high school you must take the highest
courses in math, science, and English. For training, you can take a one year or
two year program. For the one year program you must have been a nurse with
education with radiation physics or graduated from an approved program in
radiologic technology. For the two year program you have to have high school
diploma or a GED.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!
I would not like to be a radiation
therapist because it does not interest me. This career seems too much for me.
