This statement is saying that we only live once and in this one opportunity that we have we should only wish to do nothing, but good. In this route that is your life you should fill it with positive and good things. It is saying to not let yourself fall under temptations or bad things that will lead you to a bad life. You will never live again so do what's right now that you have the chance.
