Duties and Responsibilities:
   Sports medicine doctors diagnose and treat athletes and other active people who are suffering from a sports-related injury or illness. They can also be asked to come up with ways of preventing injuries and promote health for individuals actively involved in sports or exercise.
Average Salary: $119,822-$377,105
Educational Requirements:
   When you get a bachelor’s degree with a strong pre-medical curriculum you attend an accredited medical school to get your Doctor of Medicine M.D. or your Doctor of Osteopathy D.O., which take four years to complete. Then you need two to seven years of residency in a specialty like family medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, internal medicine, emergency medicine or pediatrics. Then you can complete a sports fellowship, which usually takes one to two years to complete. You also need to pass the national board certification exam.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!

I would like to be a sports medicine doctor because it is interesting to me. This is a great career choice.
