Health Sciences Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities:
   They organize and gather information that practitioners need. They use books, journals, and electronic or digital database. Librarians control budgets and supervise library technicians. Library technicians help librarians with what they do as well.
Average Salary: $20,000- $30,000 (Library Technicians)
                             $35,000- $55,000 (Librarians)
Educational Requirements:
   Students should take challenging courses in info management, science, math, and English. Health sciences library technicians’ get job training and some are offered in community college or tech school. An associate’s can be earned there. Health science librarians should earn a undergraduate degree in a life science and has to earn a master’s in library science from a program that is accredited by the American Library Association.

I would like to be a health science librarian because I think it would be really interesting to collect information about patients’ care or even just for education. It seems cool to keep journals or books full of information.
