This statement is saying that not just anyone can get to the be great because it takes a lot. You have to try and try and not stop until you get there. An example would be to become better in a sport you have to sweat, bleed and breath that sport and then you will be one of the best or maybe even THE best. That will be a rough journey, but it can be done.
