Pharmacy Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:
   They work in pharmacies under the order of pharmacists. The main job of theirs is to file prescriptions from doctor’s orders for patients. Other jobs they do are:
  • ·         Put the right amount of medication in the prescription bottle.
  • ·         Check inventories and order supplies.
  • ·         Receive and check supplies.
  • ·         Keep the working areas of the pharmacy clean.
  • ·         Help fill out the insurance forms.
  • They can work in retail pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and some large industrial complexes.

Average Salary: $15,000-$25,000
Educational Requirements:
   In high school you should take math, science (specifically chemistry), and typing classes. To start training for this career it usually requires for you to have a high school diploma. In community colleges there are available 2 year courses that give a certificate.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!

I would not like to be a pharmacy technician because it does not interest me. Another reason is because I am not very good with technology.
